AI, as I've experienced it

It's late 2021 and I'm working at Nebula. Bradford Dillon, then CTO of Nebula, pings me on Slack asking if I've "tried this CoPilot thing from GitHub."

I hadn't.

"You... you should check it out. Here." He enables CoPilot on my account, or sends me an invite link I don't really remember, and I sign up.

It was... magical. I'd never experienced anything like it. It understood the code I was writing. It knew what variables to use and where. It could generate entire suites of tests.
